- The parts must be protected on both the long and short sides of the packaging (preferably reinforce all around) by means of polystyrene strips of sufficient thickness in relation to the package’s weight.
- All empty space must be filled in using filling material (polystyrene, cardboard or wood, in the case of wood, only wood marked as packaging).
- The loose components of the article must be fastened inside the packaging so that they cannot damage each other.
- Moreover, all assembly accessories must be placed in a properly sealed polybag, which must also be taped to the box in such a way that the accessories cannot damage other components.
- Foam and/or an air-cushion plastic sheet must be used to provide extra protection for packages containing mirrors, glass doors and components.
