2.6 box number label and barcode instructions for ‘multiples’ and ‘individual packages’

Delivery of ‘multiples’ and ‘individual packages’ must take place with a box number. This means that each load carrier, (for ‘multiples’ the outer case and for ‘individual packages’ the pallet or roll container) must bear a unique box number (and barcode). This number refers to the packing list on which it is indicated which items can be found on the load carrier.

It is not required for deliveries of ‘big tickets’ and ‘hanging goods’.

The load carrier, (for ‘multiples’ the outer case and for ‘individual packages’ the pallet or roll container) must bear a label on which the following is printed:

Supplier’s name

Barcode code 128 of the pre-alerted box number

Box number printed as serial number
